PRO MARLEY · COMPLETE KIT
Build a real dance studio in your living room. The VersaStep Pro Kit gives you a 5.25' × 10' practice floor (cushioned subfloor tiles, professional marley top, and seam tape), everything you need to land jumps, save your joints, and put in the hours at home. What's in the kit VersaStep Pro marley top: 5.25' × 10' of our flagship marley (1.5 mm, controlled slip) Subfloor tiles: 3/4" cushioned interlocking tiles for impact absorption Mat tape: for sealing seams and securing edges Specifications Footprint: 5.25' × 10' (52.5 sq ft) Total thickness: 3/4" subfloor + ~1.5 mm marley Installation: Tool-free. Tiles snap together, marley unrolls on top. Warranty: 5 years (manufacturing defects) Built for Home practice: keep training going between studio classes Audition prep: drill the combinations on a real floor before the day Dorms and small spaces: fits in any room, breaks down when you don't need it Touring dancers: pack it, set it up in a hotel suite or a backstage corner Disciplines Beginner and intermediate ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, and more. The marley top works for all shoe styles. Not recommended for pointe. The cushioned foam subfloor is built to absorb impact for jumps and everyday practice, but it compresses under pointe shoes, which can cause denting and an unstable surface. For pointe work, use marley over a firm or sprung base (such as our Home Sprung Floor Kit) or over a hard, flat floor. Weighing a kit against a roll or a mat? See marley rolls vs mats vs kits, then plan the space with how to build a home dance studio. Inspect components prior to installation. Manufacturing defects are covered by warranty. Faulty installation, improper use, and normal wear are not cause for a warranty claim.
Your kit ships with snap-together sub-floor panels and a marley top. Build the base, roll the marley, tape it down. Done in an afternoon.
Starting in a corner, snap the interlocking sub-floor panels together across your space like a puzzle. They sit directly on any hard floor.
Tip · Dry-fit the whole base before locking it tight.
Cut the outer connector tabs off the edge panels with a utility knife for a clean fit against the walls.
Unroll the marley over the panels, finished-side up, aligned to the longest wall. Give it a few hours to relax flat.
Run marley seam tape down each join and perimeter tape around the edges so nothing shifts mid-routine.
Tip · 65-75°F is ideal while the marley relaxes.
Three quick habits keep the marley top studio-fresh for years.
A microfiber dust mop before class catches grit that wears the finish.
DailyWeekly, run a barely-damp mop with pH-neutral cleaner. Never vinegar or bleach.
WeeklyEvery few months, re-press the seam and perimeter tape and re-tape any lifting edges.
