Refund & Return Policy

DanceFlooringInc is a brand of FlooringInc and shares the same returns infrastructure. Love it or return it — you have 30 days from delivery to start a return.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy with your floor, you have 30 days from the day it arrives to start a return. Refunds are issued within 3–7 business days after we inspect the returned product.

How to start a return

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery: phone (866) 610-3638, live chat, or email support@danceflooringinc.com. We'll issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
  2. Pack the product in its original, resellable condition — no cuts, installation, or alteration of any kind. Original packaging required.
  3. Ship it back to our warehouse (Smyrna, TN). You are responsible for return shipping; we recommend insuring the package. The RMA number must be on the shipping label.
  4. Receive your refund within 3–7 business days after our quality inspection confirms the product is in resellable condition.

What can be returned

  • Brand-new, unused, uncut, uninstalled product in original packaging
  • Standard stocked items
  • Return initiated within 30 days of delivery

What cannot be returned

  • Custom-cut, made-to-order, or special-order items (this includes any product cut to a custom linear-foot length — by definition, custom-cut marley cannot be returned to inventory)
  • Installed, removed, or altered products
  • Clearance, overstock, or discontinued items
  • Kits, underlayment, and sundries (adhesives, moisture control, fasteners, trims, moldings)
  • Color or thickness variations within manufacturer tolerance (variation must be more than 1 mm to qualify as a defect)

Defective items are an exception — if a product arrives defective, contact us immediately and we will resolve at no cost to you.

Late returns

If your return arrives after the 30-day window, we may still accept it at our discretion with a restocking fee of up to 35% of the product's value.

Exchanges

Exchanges follow the same RMA process and carry a 10% restocking fee. Ask if your situation qualifies for the fee to be waived.

Order cancellations & changes

Need to cancel or modify an order? Call us at (866) 610-3638 as soon as possible. Once an order is in production (especially custom-cut) or already shipped, we may not be able to change it, and additional fees may apply.

Damaged or missing items

If your order arrives damaged or has missing items, you must note it on the carrier's proof of delivery and photograph the damage at the time of delivery. Report damage to us within 48 hours so we can file a claim with the carrier.

Refusal and unapproved returns

Returns shipped without an RMA number, or after the 30-day window without prior approval, may be refused or assessed additional fees. Please contact us before sending anything back.
