How to use
A concentrated deep clean for when everyday mopping is not enough, used to lift built-up wax and stubborn residue.
-
Dilute the concentrate
Mix the concentrate with water per the label for the job at hand. Use a stronger dilution for heavy wax and buildup, a lighter one for general grime.
Tip · Always follow the label ratios. This is a concentrate, not a ready-to-use cleaner.
-
Apply to the affected area
Spread the diluted solution evenly over the area you are cleaning. Work in sections so you can keep track of where you have been.
-
Let it dwell briefly
Give the solution a short dwell time so it can break down wax, residue, and stubborn grime before you agitate.
-
Agitate the surface
Work the area with a mop or soft brush to loosen the buildup the cleaner has lifted.
-
Mop up and rinse
Mop up the loosened residue, then rinse the floor with clean water and let it dry fully before use.
Tip · Rinse well so no cleaner is left behind on the marley.
Marley cleaner questions
Common questions about deep cleaning and stripping your marley floor.
Does it strip wax and buildup?
Yes. This is a heavy-duty cleaner that both cleans and strips, so it cuts through built-up wax, residue, and stubborn grime that everyday cleaning leaves behind.
Is it a concentrate, and do I need to dilute it?
Yes, it ships as a 1-gallon concentrate, so you dilute it with water before use. Follow the label ratios for the job, using a stronger mix for heavy buildup and a lighter mix for general cleaning.
How often should I use it?
This is for periodic deep cleaning, not daily use. Reach for it when everyday cleaning is no longer enough and wax or residue has built up over time.
Is it safe for marley?
Yes, it is made for marley performance floors and is low odor and ammonia-free. Dilute per the label and rinse with clean water after stripping so no cleaner is left on the surface.
How is it different from the everyday all-purpose cleaner?
The everyday all-purpose cleaner is for routine, regular mopping. This heavy-duty cleaner is stronger, strips wax and buildup, and is meant for occasional deep cleaning rather than daily use.
