Do not install over foam pads or carpets — the surface can become uneven or tear. For best results, lay on a flat, hard floor.
No tools, no tape, no subfloor work. Unroll it on a hard, flat surface and you're ready to dance.
Lay the mat on wood, laminate, tile, or concrete — anything firm and level. Avoid carpet or padding; marley needs a hard base to protect your joints.
Roll the mat out finished-side up and give it 24–48 hours to flatten. Any curl from shipping settles on its own.
Tip · Set flat, heavy objects on stubborn corners overnight.
Damp-mop with plain water to lift shipping dust, let it dry, and it's ready for class.

Great for ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. For serious tap or pointe, pair it with a sprung subfloor or step up to a full marley roll.
